gemxd built the TV Hotspot Pro: WiFi Tether App as a commercial app. The App is provided by gemxd after purchase and is intended for use as is.
The App requires your device's location (or nearby-devices permission on newer Android versions) to create a local Wi-Fi Direct group network, which is the main purpose of the application. Location access is required only to create the Wi-Fi group network, as required by the operating system. Your location is not used outside of this function and is never collected, tracked, or shared in any way.
The App uses a foreground service to perform its primary function: running an immediate, long-running Wi-Fi Direct hotspot for connected devices so they can exchange networking data through the on-device proxy. The App does not use a foreground service for any other purpose.
The App offers an optional toggle to start the hotspot automatically after the TV restarts. This preference is stored only on your device and never leaves it.
The App accesses only the permissions required for its hotspot function, and all processing stays on your device:
NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES, with fallback to
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION on older Android) —
required by Android to create Wi-Fi Direct groups. Processed on-device only,

This App does not collect any data. Your hotspot name, password, settings, and usage stay private, on your device, only accessible by you. Network traffic you choose to route through the proxy passes through your own device and is never logged, stored, or shared with gemxd or any other party, except where you voluntarily send data to the developer for troubleshooting (for example crash reports or usability issues).
No account is created, no analytics SDK is bundled, and no advertising SDK is bundled. The App contains no ads.

Because the App collects no data on any server, there is nothing to delete server-side. To delete all on-device data (preferences, hotspot name/password, auto-start toggle), uninstall the App or use TV Settings → Apps → TV Hotspot Pro → Clear data. Questions: support@gemxd.com.
All settings remain on your device and are never transmitted to gemxd. Proxy traffic is routed locally between your TV and your connected devices.
